Answering a survey for Project Vote Smart, Jack Conway admitted that he does not fully support the Second Amendment. Instead, he plans to:
“Maintain and strengthen the enforcement of existing federal restrictions on the purchase and possession of guns.”
This does not sound like someone who respects the right to keep and bear arms.

This worries me. He needs to focus on the needs of the people of Kentucky, not on another Obama/Reid/Pelosi powergrab.
It’s clear that Jack has little interest in protecting our 2nd amendment rights. Even Mongiardo supports 2nd amendment rights. Conway is about as far left as one can get. He should be running for office in California or New York, not in Kentucky.
Jack Conway is way outside of the mainstream. We need somebody who represents Kentucky values, not the liberal agenda.
I wonder if Jack Conway has even shot a gun. He needs to focus on the important issues.

Jack Conway is extremely anti-gun and anti-2nd amendment. He is a far-left gun grabber, and Kentuckians should vote for principled constitutionalist and solid conservative Rand Paul.
Of course. He wants to restrict the 2nd Amendment right of law-abiding citizens so that he & Washington bureaucrats can have ever more power and control over our lives and properties.
If a majority of Kentuckians are pro gun and vote with their gun rights in mind, Jack Conway doesn’t have a chance. It’s that simple. Rand Paul will get a large majority of gun owners votes.

Hat’s off to KY from Indiana! Consider yourselves lucky down there with R. Paul; we got stuck with Gun-Ban-Dan Coats on the R ticket up here. I’ll be forced to vote Independent this fall and I’m not all that happy about it.

Any politician that doesn’t support the 2nd amendment to the Constitution should not be elected to office in any capacity. By support I mean that every “legal” citizen of age has the right to keep and bear arms.

It was good to see the Supreme Court overturn the Chicago ban today.
The Supreme Court successfuly upheld the 2nd admendment. The only thing concerning about this case was that it ended up with a 5-4 majority.
Protecting gun rights is important especially in kentucky. good luck getting elected, gun grabber jack
